RTRFM Music Quiz 2014

The annual RTRFM Music Quiz features nine rounds of mind-bending trivia including questions from RTRFM Movie Squad and DVD on the Radio, a local super group and DJ Dart, on Saturday 26 July at the Mt Hawthorn Town Hall from 7pm.

Get together the six greatest music lovers you know, brush up your random music knowledge, and get ready for a night of laughs, a musical awakening, and plenty of ah-ha’s!

This year, the RTRFM Music Quiz will bring together a one-night-only local super group called The Shakellerohunters– comprised of Claire Hodgson and Lauren Reece from The Shakeys, Steve Knoth and Matt Van Leeuwen from Scalphunter, and Jason Mirošević from The Caballeros – to further test and tantalise your melodic smarts in the live music round.

RTRFM’s Wednesday Full Frequency presenter Dart will be holding down the decks between rounds, as well as busting out a selection of his music brain-busters for a special DJ set.

Film aficionados Simon Miraudo, from DVD on the Radio, and Movie Squad’s Paul Grace will present a special round of cinema-related trivia, including questions to test your cult movie and film soundtrack IQ.

Plus Smoult’s Continental Deli will be serving gourmet hotdogs and cheese boards, and a cash bar will be open on the night.

Food is welcome, so don’t forget to pack a sustenance-fuelled picnic for your teammates, but BYO Alcohol is not permitted.

There will be huge prizes awarded to the Champion Team, as well as bragging rights and ultimate geek respect from Breakfast With Barr presenter and MC, Peter Barr.
