We’re feeling Pure Joy for new Liam Snowy Halliwell release

Liam Snowy Halliwell is one of the greatest to ever do it.

Renowned as a founding member of beloved Melbourne band The Ocean Party as well as his own project Snowy Band, Liam is a true creator at heart. With an extensive back-catalogue that spans pop, new-wave, punk, alt-rock and folk, Snowy leans into his sense of self with this new solo project under his full name, with debut album Pure Joy.

Snowy is a master of space in his songwriting, finding moments to let parts breathe or sit patiently beside one another, like little sonic secrets waiting for their moment to be discovered by the listener.

Pam Boland spoke with Snowy for Breakfast about the new release which is out now via Blossom Rot Records.
