Save Scott Reef: Doctors for the Environment

Woodside has proposed a plan to develop three gas fields north of Broome and Karratha – around Scott reef. Woodside says the project “has potential to contribute to energy security” in WA and the Asia Pacific region, but what negative impacts might it have on us and our environment?

On Monday 2 November, speakers will gather for a panel and Q&A called Corals’ Last Stand in an effort to protect Scott Reef from Woodside’s Browse Project and its potentially detrimental effects.

Fiona Bartholomaeus chats with one of the speakers and member of Doctors for the Environment, Dr Justin Bowra.
