Get to know Em

Curating a listening experience for people is really special and I love the calm of the studio during a Golden Apples Show. I’ve had some fairly life affirming moments sitting back in the presenter chair listening to seminal psych-folk tracks of the 60s and 70s… The RTRFM community is also so great. I remember thinking I had found my people when I began attending RTRFM events. Not for nothing, but that is very cool.

How did you become involved in the station?

I was interviewed on air by Claude Mono many years ago and loved the whole experience. (Imagine being asked to talk about your music for 20 minutes!) After doing the broadcasting course I jumped into Snooze Button for 1 shift before being asked by Pete Barr to fill in on Breakfast. After that I joined The Mag’s weekly roster and became a presenter of Golden Apples of the Sun (which is really my spirit program).
