Radiothon 2015: Dig Deep!

RTRFM’s 10-day fundraising drive will commence with Breakfast with Caitlin at 6am on Friday, 14 August, continuing through to the end of Sunday Morning Coming Down at 12 noon on Sunday, 23 August.

RTRFM relies on community support to power the station throughout the year.  This year’s garden theme encourages listeners to dig deep and support the station they love by subscribing or donating to RTRFM during Radiothon.

RTRFM’s huge Radiothon Party will kick off the first weekend of Radiothon and will see the station program 23 live acts and DJs across five Northbridge venues on Saturday, 15 August.

During Radiothon, all RTRFM programs across the grid will feature special guests, live performances, interviews, hijinks and prizes aplenty.

Listeners who subscribe or donate to RTRFM during Radiothon will reap what they sow; automatically entering the draw to win a huge array of major and category prizes, as well as daily prize packages and spot prizes. Major and category prizewinners will be drawn after pledge payments close on Saturday, 10 October 2015.

Subscribers that pay for their subscription upfront (rather than pledging) will also enter the draw for that day’s daily prize package, announced on air each morning at 6am and online via rtrfm.com.au. Winners will be drawn the following day and announced on air between 8-9am.

RTRFM’s dedicated phone room and studio volunteers will take listener subscriptions and donations at all hours of the day, so you can make your contribution to The Sound Alternative whenever suits you best.

As an independent, non-profit organisation, RTRFM relies on the financial contributions of its listeners by way of subscriptions and donations to operate. Revenue raised during Radiothon makes up approximately 30% of the station’s annual operating income.

The ongoing support of listeners during Radiothon ensures that RTRFM can continue to deliver unique programs and events, and remain a high-quality alternative to mainstream media in Perth.
