Get to know Samuel

It’s a real joy finding new music and artists from around the world to share with our listeners. When not behind a desk – that’s both day job and radio DJ desks – I’m an avid engager of the electronic, experimental and noisy scenes in Perth.

How did you become involved in the station?

I remember turning to John Cage’s “Lecture on Nothing” on Difficult Listening. That late night listening/cramming session turned a long time listener into a first time caller.I was invited to play the Ambient Zone team in 2007.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Siamese Dream.
