About

Get to know Annika Moses

I’m a queer Anglo woman who lives and makes on Whadjuk Noongar land in Boorloo (Perth). On this land I also like to write, play, listen, and sew.

Presenting on RTRFM is one of the great joys of life! I try to approach broadcast and community radio as resources for practicing collective attention, attunement and listening.

I’m involved in a bunch of creative projects around Boorloo, including my own music projects Nika Mo and Great Statue, as well as alt-punk-Oz-rock faffers Didion’s Bible, and the shape-shifting Lyndon Blue band. I organise and curate with Tone List, a Boorloo-based label for exploratory music. I cut hair for strictly no money but will accept trades, handmade gifts, treasures, gluten free beers and/or favours.

How did you become involved with the station?

A friend recommended the training course while I was still studying, and I jumped at the chance! From there I started presenting with the Difficult Listening collective, doing fills here and there, and finally making my way to Monday Drivetime with my OG partner in prime time crime, Doug Swampe.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Golden Apples.

Love music?

Love RTRFM.
