Born in New Delhi, raised in Perth – I was exposed to many different genres and styles of music at a young age. You’ll hear that influence in anything I touch musically – from radio shows and DJ sets to my own music.

About

Get to know MOWGLI

Falling in love with music at a young age led me from being a fan to a DJ in my late teens and early twenties. I’m currently now a full time artist (DJ/Producer) and events producer.

Having DJ’d full time for almost 5 years now, I have a lot of music I come across that sometimes doesn’t suit the formats of where I DJ. Cloud Waves and RTR gives me an avenue to showcase this, as well as have insightful conversations and interviews with some of my favourite artists.

How did you become involved with the station?

While at university, I would listen to RTR during late night study sessions. When the opportunity came for me to join the station, Aslan reached out and I’ve been a part of Cloud Waves ever since!

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Playing – I once played a secret after party B2B with Fred Again and friends at Barbes in March 2023.

Attending – Kanye West for his Yeezus Tourat RAC Arena in 2016 – will never forget that one.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Full Frequency and Bass Check are definitely 2 favs!
