About

Get to know The

I first heard RTRFM when I moved to Australia in 1999, and it quickly became a significant part of my life. The station’s diverse range of music and cultural programming opened my ears to new musical experiences and allowed me to explore different cultures through their unique sounds.

Presenting on RTRFM is a passion of mine because it allows me to share these discoveries with a broader audience. I love the thrill of introducing listeners to fresh, exciting tracks and connecting with them through the universal language of music. The joy of curating and presenting music that resonates with people is incredibly fulfilling.

Outside of the station, I work as a corporate manager of several technical teams at a tertiary education institute. This role involves overseeing various projects and ensuring our technical infrastructure supports the educational needs of the institution. Balancing this with my radio presenting creates a dynamic and enriching professional life, where I can blend my love for technology with my passion for music and community engagement.

How did you become involved in the station?

A a presenter i think about 7 years ago? Before that interacted with the station peripherally, through gigs and performing at events. RTR has always been an important part of my life.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

God, there were so many incredible gigs. A string of insane shows at the Bakery back in the day. One would be NYE 2011 Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer and Harmonic 313. Seeing Ras-G blow a fuse in the Bird. Playing at many of the Community Records gigs around the place. Winning the Beatdown at a sold out Rosemount.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Friday Full Freq or Golden Apples of the Sun
