Every Sunday afternoon the station delves deep into the world of roots music with Rockin’ The Roots. This year the shows celebrates 15 years on air and we are taking things live as we bring you 15 Years of Rockin’ The Roots at Clancy’s Fish Pub, Saturday September 14th.
Starting in 2004, the program delves into the world of roots, reggae, folk, country and all those things inbetween with a team of dedicated and incredibly knowledgely presenters.
Join us at Clancy’s Fish Pub, Fremantle on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14 as we celebrate all things roots with two stages across the venue.
In the main room catch the sounds folky sounds of Kings and Queens, the king of alt country Justin Walshe Trio, the jazz magic of Lois Olney, the country world of Tom Fisher and the Layabouts and the party times of Mystic Rebellion.
Outside things are a little quieter with the beautiful sounds of Sara Salt, the song writing genius of Tashi, the now legendary Elk Bell, the country vibes of Belle Harvey and the blues driven sounds of Ben Catley fill the sky with their magical sounds.
Plus the Rockin’ The Roots crew will be there for a chat and a dance.
Join us for the ultimate celebration of one of RTRFM’s longest running radio shows. Get down for a dance, a boogie and one hell of a good time
