RTRFM 92.1’s In The Pines is, after a Covid postponement is set to take flight again on Sunday October 18th 2020. Some six months after the original date, In The Pines will take place in 2020 and we could not be happier.
Covid Safety Plans:
We still have rock solid local music, incredible volunteers and punters who support community radio year in, year out.
This year however, you may notice a few changes.
>We will be going completely cashless to avoid hand to hand contact at our bars and merch desks
>Sanitisation stations will be available and clearly marked
>Volunteer COVID Safety Officers will also be floating around
>Increased cleaning procedures
>We know it may be hard to maintain 1.5m in the pit, but please do your best to socially distance when you can
>If you are sick, please do not come. Stay home, tune in and join us via the airwaves on 92.1.

In The Pines is a celebration of local music, bringing together some of the best talent from our home town and sharing it with the people of Perth to enjoy for a whole day and night at our home away from home for the last 26 years, Somerville.
With 10 hours of local music in the stunning and serene surrounds of Somerville, In The Pines is the perfect place to picnic with friends, take in some of Perth’s exceptional musical talent and enjoy the party!
We’ll be broadcasting all the happenings live on your radio from 11:30am-10pm at 92.1, on digital and online at rtrfm.com.au.
In The Pines is proudly supported by City of Perth, Gage Roads Brewing Co, Skigh Wines, Go2Cup, CCA Productions, Olive Farm Wines, Kimberly Rum Company and Paramount Security.
Gold Subscribers: We hold spots for you on the day. Just come down with your card or keyring for entry.
Please note: In The Pines will only go ahead with permission from the City of Perth and WA Health. A Covid Safe Event Plan has been submitted and all guidelines will be followed. The event may be cancelled if permission is not granted. Your experience may be slightly different and we ask you to all work with RTRFM to make sure we keep safe at the event.

From the City – Perth Esplanade Busport
Route No. 950, 23, 102 and 107 Journey time 10 minutes Leaves every 1-15 minutes
Wellington Street Bus Station Route No. 102 and 107 Journey time 20 minutes Leaves every 15-30 minutes
From Fremantle – Route No. 98 and103 Journey time 30 minutes Leaves every 15 minutes.

- No BYO Alcohol. We have a fairly priced bar on site.
- BYO Food. You can bring a picnic but we also have food trucks on site. All money raised goes towards RTRFM operating costs.
- Smoking – UWA is a none smoking campus. Please refrain from smoking on site.
- Pass outs – You can come and go as you please on the day.
Social Distancing – We encourage you to social distance when and where you can at the event. We will have protocols in place to help.
There will be no place for anti-social behaviour and a zero tolerance approach to discrimination or harassment. If you feel at any point unsafe at In The Pines, please approach a member of RTRFM Staff, UWA Staff or Security. Everyone has the right to a good time no matter how you look or express yourself.
