What to expect
The 2014 Radiothon Party will kick off RTRFM’s annual pledge drive with a massive Northbridge-wide music celebration to support The Sound Alternative on Friday 15 August from 8pm at The Bakery, The Bird, Ya Ya’s, and Flyrite.
The Radiothon Party hot ticket gives you access to all four venues and the eclectic local line-up of emerging musicians, progressive beat makers and renowned bands, at this
one-night-only mammoth party event.
The Bakery will host live sets from local favourites Savoir, Rainy Day Women, Kučka, Davey Craddock & The Spectacles, and The Weapon is Sound.
Rock out at Ya Ya’s to the fuzzed out sounds of Dream Rimmy, Loners, HAMJAM, and Hideous Sun Demon.
The party continues at The Bird with the best in local hip-hop from Coin Banks, Marksman Lloyd, Kid Tsunami, and Empty.
A new addition this year, Flyrite will give life to Sable, Slumberjack, Lower Spectrum, and RTRFM’s Cloud Waves DJs spinning beats until the early hours of the morning.
RTRFM is entirely self-funded and the 10-day Radiothon pledge drive and Radiothon Party are the station’s main source of income for the year. It is your station as much as it is ours, and your support is invaluable to keeping The Sound Alternative on the airwaves!
