What to expect
Join your favourite RTRFM presenters and some incredible local bands and DJs at The Rechabite on Saturday 30 August, to celebrate the station’s most important fundraising campaign, Radiothon.
RTRFM is More Than Radio and the Radiothon Party is our chance to celebrate everything that is great about the station. This year’s party takes place mid-way through the Radiothon drive and will maintain momentum as RTRFM calls on the community to continue subscribing and donating. Proceeds from ticket sales help keep RTRFM on the air!
Storming the main hall at The Rechabite are a selection of some of the city’s finest acts. Check out the ambient electro sounds of Blood Knows, the haunting melodies of Diode, the rolling lyrics of Elizabeta and the legendary drone of Erasers. They’ll be joined by Matt and Rhian from Out To Lunch on the decks.
Then stick around a little later for the majesty of jade/vision live, and witness an improvised jazz, electronic, hip-hop collective groove their way through a set.
On the Hello Rooftop we celebrate 15 years of the station’s flagship LGBTIQA+ show All Things Queer.. Join a collection of the show’s DJs and friends, including Diva2Diva (Henny and Jam Jam), Elle Cee, The Queer Things (Bobby, Lee, Kendall) and Wetpuddlss.
And downstairs in the Goodwill Club, Willy Slade and Ephacy from Thursday Full Frequency have curated a special night of heavy hitters and station favourites. Catch sets from Willy and Ephacy as well as DJ Sweet Pea, Loner Vista b2b Garbage TV and VOSS.
Subscriptions, donations and ticket sales to RTRFM during Radiothon are essential to raise funds for the ongoing operation of the station. For tickets head to rtrfm.com.au.
Gold Subscribers and Companion Card Holders can enter for free.
