RTRFM NAIDOC Week 2026

To celebrate NAIDOC week, RTRFM presents a special edition of Feature Music curated in collaboration with the Indigenous radio stations 6DBY, Goolarri Media, RadioMAMA, 6WR Waringarri Radio and PAKAM.

Each station contributed First Nation artist recommendations from their region to bring together a sound selection stretching across WA’s midwest, Pilbara and Kimberley. While our Sound Selection is usually all brand new tracks, we’ve broken our own rules a bit, and used the 2026 NAIDOC theme ’50 Years of Deadly’ as the impetus to curate a selection of tracks from across the past 5 decades.

Across this mix you’ll hear genres as diverse as jangle country to moody trip-hop spokenword, to experimental ambient — all featured in RTRFM’s NAIDOC sound selection. Dig in!
