Breaking Sound Barriers returns for a third season!

Throughout 2025, RTRFM was able to deliver a third round of our accessible and inclusive training courses for people with a disability, supported by our friends at Youth Disability Advocacy Network (YDAN) and Synergy’s Community Giving Fund.

We’re excited to share with you the latest batch of stories and podcast pilots from the Breaking Sound Barriers graduates!

This season features conversations across music, culture, identity, community, getting through high school and much more, from the perspective of this year’s students.

In this instalment, we have A Peice of Cake with Aida Chambers-Farre, a podcast on queerness, disability and how they’re represented in the media.

Aida and co-host Kim look at representation of Aromatic and Asexual characters in TV shows – some good, and some not so good, starting with Wednesday Addams from the latest Netflix adaptation of The Addam’s Family franchise.

New episodes of Breaking Sound Barriers will premiere weekly on Tuesdays during On the Record in November & December.
