HERSTORY on RTRFM: Kedy Kristal

This week, we meet a woman who has spent her adult life advocating for social justice. Kedy Kristal has worked in the area of family and domestic violence for more than thirty years.

Kedy Kristal is a Justice of the Peace working voluntarily in the Magistrate’s Court hearing Family Violence Restraining Orders and is an independent prison visitor to Boronia Pre-release Centre.

Kedy Kristal was an inaugural inductee to the WA Women’s Hall of Fame in 2011. This is her story.

And a heads-up … there are issues of violence and assault discussed in this episode.

HERSTORY is an RTRFM podcast series about some of the remarkable women in the Western Australian Hall of Fame.

Join us as we shine a light on the lives and careers of women who have demolished barriers, lived incredible lives, and built a legacy of possibility for the girls and young women who follow in their footsteps.

Produced with the assistance of the Community Broadcasting Foundation. Find out more at www.cbf.org.au.
