HERSTORY on RTRFM: Louise Sauvage

On this episode of HERSTORY on RTRFM, Taylah Strano talks with WA Women’s Hall of Fame 2011 inductee, Louise Sauvage, OAM.

Wheelchair racer Louise Savage is a certified legend. Inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2007 as an Athlete Member for the sport of athletics and in 2019 she was elevated as the 41st Legend of Australian Sport.

Sauvage was named Laureus Sports Award Sportsperson Of The Year With A Disability 2000 and, among many, many honours for one of Australia’s greatest ever athletes, she is an inductee in the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.

In this conversation, Louise Sauvage and Taylah Strano share laughs, stories of training, competing and coaching … and the odd home video!

HERSTORY is an RTRFM podcast series about some of the remarkable women in the Western Australian Hall of Fame.
