Never Again. It’s been 80 years since the attacks on Hiroshima & Nagasaki in 1945 and people have been remembering the event through ceremonies, testimonials and more calls to put a reform on nuclear warfare.
Indymedia’s Phil Evans presents this piece on Hiroshima, Nagasaki and Nuclear Warfare and spoke with friend of the show, Scott Ludlam.
In Victoria, a new raft of restrictions is being proposed by the State Government to limit activists.
Restrictions include a ban on face coverings, a ban on broadly described ‘dangerous attachment devices’, a band on public display of certain symbols and the creation of ‘safe access areas’ around places of religious worship to prohibit any protest.
Chloe Aldenhoven from Friends of the Earth joined the show to chat more about the restrictions.
Plus the news that mainstream media didn’t talk about.
