Joni Boyd and Zoë Theiadore jump into the studio for a new edition of Indymedia!

Zoe spoke with Wade from Political Intifada which is an activist group within the Palestinian Solidarity Movement in WA.
They have a particular focus on considered and targeted efforts in holding our federal and state members of parliament accountable for their complacency and in-action when it comes to Israel‘s indiscriminate attacks against the Palestinian people. This past week, they had actions at federal cabinet meetings, fundraising dinners, as well as parliamentary offices.
They discussed the current situation in Palestine, lack of action from the Labour Government and unpacking the criticism that comes around performative rallying and how effective it can be versus direct actions.

Joni chats with Lewis from Disrupt Land Forces. Ray chat to them last week about their plans to disrupt the convention, against arms dealers and manufacturers.
The Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition is an arms and weapons expo, held in Naarm (Melbourne).
The disruptions have kicked off and Lewis provides us with an update on how the disruption is going and what’s in store.
