Indymedia: Direct Action Taken to Protect Nullaki Peninsula

Denmark residents are voicing their opposition to a proposed lime pit, due to be developed on the Nullaki Peninsula.

Property developer Graeme Robertson‘s plans were initially rejected by the City of Albany, although he was granted permission on appeal to the State Administrative Tribunal.

Nelson Gilmore is one of the local residents mobilising in opposition to the lime pit development.

Nelson spoke to Ray Grenfell on Indymedia about why he’s taking direct action.
