Indymedia: Fringe World Drops Woodside As Sponsor

After widespread criticism, Fringe World has finally dropped Woodside as a principal sponsor and naming partner.

In 2020, it was revealed that artists were asked to sign a “gag clause” preventing the criticism of sponsors during this year’s festival.

Noëmie Huttner-Koros was one of the artists calling for the removal of Woodside as a festival partner.

She spoke to Indymedia about the announcement and what this means for the Perth Fringe Festival.
