A major Asia-Pacific arms conference taking place in Brisbane is facing opposition from local activists. Disrupt Land Forces representative Margaret explained to the Indymedia team what the expo involves and what activists are doing to challenge it.

This week, the Australian Federal Court ruled that Environment Minister Susan Leahy has a duty to not cause harm to young people. The team speak to one of the eight young people who brought that action to court.

And closer to home, Indymedia speak to CCWA director Piers Versteegen about the proposed Scarborough Gas Hub. The joint Woodside-BHP project would be one of Australia’s biggest sources of pollution, comparable to the Adani minesite.
