About

Get to know Alpha

I’m a Perth boy of Latin American extraction. I’m a big fan of reggae, ska, funk, world music and indie. I first started listening to RTRFM in the early 90s and love having the opportunity to share my passion for underground music from around the world with a community of like-minded enthusiasts.

How did you become involved in the station?

Taken under the wings of General Justice and Mumma Trees on Jamdown in the 90s and haven’t looked back!

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

They’re all great! There’s something for everyone, it’s what makes RTRFM such a great part of Perth.
