Austin Salisbury is a Perth-based jazz pianist, performing locally and nationally
for the last 6 years. Graduating from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2017, he learned his craft from some Australia’s finest jazz musicians including Tom O’Halloran, Jamie Oehlers, Russel Holmes and Daniel Susnjar. His current projects include jazz quintet “MELVE”, Afro-Cuban inspired collaboration with Imogen Thomson “Mejadra”, indie-rock group “Chidgzey” and 80’s synth pop band “Good Bike”.

What is the best thing about being involved in the station?
The people – getting to be a part of a collective of passionate music fans and share our collections of music with each other and listeners.
