Get to know Ben

I love being able to present on RTR with friends and sharing music that i find. a main thing I like looking for when preparing music for a show is the through lines between the different styles/genres.

Outside of the station during the day i work a 9-5 Mon to Fri, and at nights I’m either making music or out attending local gigs. I first came across RTRFM shortly after I finished high school through recommendations of some other friends and has been one of the best things to be aware of and be involved in!

How did you become involved in the station?

A few friends who were already involved as presenters or volunteers at RTR recommended i do the presenter course. I had never considered it but honestly was one of the best things I did as I didn’t realise how much i enjoyed sharing music on the radio and talking about it.
