Get to know Calabrian Cowboy

An avid listener of RTRFM for years, I believe strongly in community radio and the ability for others to be able to listen in to an alternative sound, discover a brand-new local artist, and catch up on what’s happening locally and around WA. I love being able to contribute to something that has already been such a staple for so many in Perth. It is a massive privilege to be able to present on community radio and RTRFM.

I also run a couple of podcasts in my spare time which I thoroughly enjoy, particularly when it comes to interviewing people and sharing their unique stories.

 

 

 

 

How did you become involved in the station?

I completed the RTR Radio Presenter Training in October 2026 after listening in for almost 2 decades, finally deciding to give it a go and haven’t looked back.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Sons of Rico in 2008 when they were just starting out. I can’t remember exactly but it may have been their EP launch. The crowd was awesome, they were awesome, was just an all-round awesome local gig.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

It’s a toss up between Soul Sides and Black and Blue
