Danny Greene
My starter drug was listening to my Dad’s Prince albums on headphones as a young pup while the family watched Brookside, an obsession that continues to this day (Prince, not Brookside). I then met the right mate in my early teens who was on to the good stuff. eventually, the recommendations became a two-way street and we got going to gigs and festivals. then I was lost in it and, thankfully, have never found my out since.

Upon arriving from the UK I was completely ignorant of the possibility that there was a locally ran, world class radio station a mere dial-turn away. then a mate told me about some interesting music he had heard on a Saturday morning (would have been Global Rhythm Pot) and I gave it a go. Pete Barr was playing a non-single track off Odelay! At 8.30am and my view of Perth changed forever.
After going to many an RTR event and hero-worshipping certain presenters, eventually, me and my partner did the presenter course and I got on to Golden Apples when my mate Mark decided to put up his headphones and put in a word for me with show head honcho Claude.
