About

Get to know Fenrar

I first heard RTRFM scanning through the radio frequencies on my parents stereo in the 90s. I got hooked on shows like Homegrown, Stere-go-round, and Cyberspace Radio. In real life I draw pictures of engineering equipment and in the past I have designed furniture, robots and other machines. Presenting on RTRFM is great because I get to share the music I love and find interesting with other people.

How did you become involved in the station?

I completed the presenter’s training course after being encouraged by my friend Dan. It was always a dream of mine to present on RTRFM.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Tanaka Hirokazu, the composer of the Super Mario Land music, bought one of our t-shirts from the merch desk at Square Sounds festival we played at.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Ambient Zone.
