On Air : Listen

I’m a sound and public relations student at Murdoch. I’m a crazy dog lady who spends too much time attending Italian greyhound functions. In other news I am always losing the war on glitter and spend the majority of my time with gays and queens. Now if only I could combine the two and have tea parties with queens and dogs the world would be perfect.

How did you become involved in the station?

Peter Barr was my supervisor during my broadcast unit at Murdoch University and said my show was very similar to All Things Queer. So I figured why not join as I love radio and didn’t want it to end.

If stuck on Mars, what five albums could you not go without?

  • Marilyn Manson – The Last Tour on Earth
  • Alaska Thunderfuck – Anus
  • Otep – Generation Doom
  • All Eyes on Saturn – Before the Shadows Find Their Homes
  • Halsey – Badlands

What is the best thing about being involved in the station?

I think the best thing about RTR is that every view is appreciated and that there is a diverse range of people, ideas and music.

What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at RTRFM?

Talking to Will about Otep and having him know exactly who she was.

If you could present a show other than your own, which would it be and why?

Artbeat. I love performance art and the way art makes people react, think and feel.

What do you do in real life?

In real life I’m a Uni student who spends way too much time procrastinating, attending dog parties, watching drag shows, watching TV shows and then discussing them and playing Pokemon.
