About

Get to know Jane

We first listened to RTRFM under its previous guise as 6UVSFM. The music was more diverse and surprising than we had ever heard on radio. Because we are post-genre, the eclectic music on RTRFM suits us as presenters and as listeners.

How did you become involved in the station?

We have been presenting the proudly feminist Drastic on Plastic show for all of its fantastic 40 year life! The lack of representation of women in the early days of 6UVS prompted us to conquer our nerves, open our mouths, and bring all the wonderful music made by women to the airwaves.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

We love going to live music gigs with local, national or international artists across all genres. If you see us about and about fan womaning, come by say hello.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Giant Steps.
