London born, Jimmy Dove is a regular on Soul Sides and Rock, Rattle and Roll RTRFM, who has also been lineup DJ for the Falls Festival and The Court Yard Club. Jimmy is an avid collector of Soul, Garage, Funk and anything else that sets your heart on fire!!! A beat fanatic!!!! A Vinyl Junky and a bit of Mocker… (Mod or Rocker no I’m a Mocker!!!)

Get to know Jimmy

I love presenting and having the honour of being able to share a whole world of music. Opportunities for growth in curating and developing material to a like minded audience, is always a service that fill me with joy and excitement. I was really luck to fall into the two shows that I love to listen too. It’s amazing being part of what I believe to be the best radio in the world for alternative music.

How did you become involved in the station?

My wife has been a presenter since the 90’s. I helped her with a show once and that was it. I was hooked.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

The Scientist Gig a few years back has to go on my calendar as the last time I was crowd surfed by an audience of OAPs…

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?
