About

Get to know Lee

Lee Vixen is a local music lover, Dj and radio presenter. Having been involved in the local hip hop scene for a number of years as a promoter and journalist, she made the move to radio in 2017. With a background on marketing and advertising she also speaks and mentors at music events in Perth such as WAMcon and Sound States. Passionate about independent and underground music of all genres, her mission is to unearth this music and to share it with fellow music lovers and providing opportunities and a platform for these artists to promote their music.

How did you become involved in the station?

I’d been involved in the local hip hop scene for a few years and then was recommended by DJ Weaponess to do the RTRFM presenters course. That was back in 2017 and here we are.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Attended so many gigs over the years! Hard to pick one and they’re all memorable for their own reasons. Support artists and check out live music.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

All City and Black & Blue – too hard to choose one!
