Get to know Lindsay Walton

Presenting on RTR gives me a connection to a beautiful community using one of the most interesting and fun outlets, I love how radio is such a simple and globally used platform to connect and uplift us, I’m proud to be part of Perth’s version of this.

How did you become involved in the station?

I started in the phone rooms around 2014, got fed lots of burgers and lollies, then I did the presenter training in 2018 and have been presenting and volunteering consistently since, I joined the Drastic Collective in 2019.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

I remember crying at a Penguin Cafe gig when they came to Perth for Perth Fest, and they are one of those bands that I am unlikely to see again so it felt really special.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Ambient Zone.
