About

Get to know Martin

I love presenting because I love to share my knowledge of music with people and hopefully introduce them to new and old sounds they may never have heard before. I’m an old school DJ, I’m also a musician and there’s nothing I enjoy more than exploring, creating and mixing sounds at home in my studio. When I am not indulged in music I work as a Financial Systems geek implementing and managing financial systems. I first got into RTRFM 92.1 in 2015 when I managed to get on the waiting list for the presenters course and started exploring the various shows.

How did you become involved in the station?

A friend of mine mentioned to me that RTRFM 92.1 were looking for volunteer radio presenters…I signed up for the Radio Presenting Course which was fab, met some awesome people and became a volunteer presenter.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Too many, but I loved Jean Michel Jarre at Destination Docklands UK and Motley Crue with Tommy Lee playing drums upside down on a roller-coaster in WA.
