Passionate about global music, I grew up playing records instead of watching TV. With over 30 years in radio, I continue to celebrate diverse musical styles from around the world.

Get to know Nic

I love presenting because I cherish the connection music creates between people. Outside of the station I am a dad, educator and AFL (Carlton) fanatic! Being in band at the time I first heard of RTR back in the 90s. I knew at that time RTR were (and still are) strong supporters of local musicians and artists.

 

How did you become involved in the station?

I was invited to join the the Global Rhythm Pot collective back in 2005 by the legendary Jen Hasleby. I am forever grateful of her faith in me!

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Spring in Sao Paolo gig at Deville’s was an awesome event! Not sure how may years ago that was though!

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

El Ritmo but really I love all of them!!!!!!
