About

Get to know Peter

There is a joy in presenting 2 hours of music, and working through new songs, old songs, and new releases to try and put together a playlist that resonates. I love doing that. When I am not listening to music I work in environmental consulting, and try to find time to travel the world, and sometimes write some stories.

How did you become involved in the station?

A couple of friends said my voice might be good for radio, and being a.music nerd, I thought it might worth doing the training course. That was 7 years ago and I haven’t stopped since then.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Most memorable gig was The Hoodoo Gurus, YouAm I, and Redd Kross at the Belvoir Amphitheatre in 1994.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Drivetime.
