Get to know Philly

sharing music you love with others is one of life’s great joys and I love to do that through radio DJing. If I’m not doing something music-y, you can find me hanging with my family and friends, or pushing pixels or paper around to try and make pretty things. My first memories of RTR was listening to Dan the Man and Rok Riley’s hip hop show in the 90s – and Geng(?) and Barr!

How did you become involved in the station?

I used to guest for Ben Mac and Micah on Full Frequency, which led to filling in when they weren’t available. Which led to jumping into Ben’s spot when he moved on. 8 years later I also moved on and joined the Trainwreck fam.

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Hard to top playing in a giant, flame breathing spider on the foreshore for Arcadia Perth.

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

Full Frequency, my old flame.
