Get to know Robert

I have been listening to RTRfm for a decade or more, and then realized that the desk is open to everyone, and so I did the course and now sit in the chair. It’s a great way to stay engaged in music, and be connected to the local scene. Now I can’t listen to music without making connections and playlists in my head. That’s me you’ll see me on the bus with my headphones on, making lists…

How did you become involved in the station?

I am a listener, I am local, and I heard friends on the station and decided to jump someone else’s train

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Shonen Knife this year at the Milk Bar was fantastic. Looking back, maybe Tangerine Dream in 1987, although that was a full spectrum experience…

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?

I always listen to Sandy Out to Lunch on Fridays, and Siamese Dream is my demographic for sure.
