About

Get to know The

I have always enjoyed presenting from a very young age and was on community radio in New Zealand at the age of 14, the rush of performing in front of people or when the red light turns on at the RTR FM studio, is a feeling that words cannot describe.
I would not call myself a musician by any means, but I do enjoy singing with friends when we have a jam on the weekend .

Going to live music gigs is a must for me, I need it.

Through RTR FM I have discovered so many acts both locally and internationally and I am a massive fan (some would say No.1) of Last Quokka.

How did you become involved in the station?

I love RTR, I had the need share and be on air !!

Tell us about your most memorable gig, either attending or playing at?

Attending the Michael Jackson – Auckland – 1996 – HIStory Tour .
The scale of this gig was nothing the world had seen before. It was a time before cancel culture and MJ was the true King of Pop.
We slept overnight in the cue and I was at the very front row for the gig. To see such a performance live was legendary.

Going to Glastonbury 2004 was also unreal

What is your favourite show (other than your own) on RTRFM?
