Get to know Twillo
Music is a universal force that can be expressed in endless forms, across all cultures in many spaces and times. It has the power to tug at the most human of emotions and it’s for these reasons that I love to share the sounds that have found me with the community. When I’m not out working in the lovely bushlands of Noongar Boodja I’m usually tinkering with beats and bits of gear in the studio, testing out different sounds, looking for new sounds and mixing them all together.
Weekends you will likely catch me bopping to a local Dj from which we are spoilt for choice here in Boorloo and Walyalup. I first heard RTR on the radio growing up and my first impressions were that it played strange music guaranteed not to be heard on other stations, but it felt so authentic with so many passionate presenters. I think I really fell in love with RTR when I first heard full frequency presented by the enigmatic Rok Riley herself on a Friday, the weekend of Radiothon which was falling on my birthday that weekend and I decided to call up to share the love which was gifted back 10 times over and still continues to spread to this day.
