Simon Miraudo

I began volunteering at RTRFM in 2010 as a film and TV critic with reviews of Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom and Glee: S1. And now I’m the General Manager? Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked as a journalist and editor, penning more than 1,400 film reviews, conducting hundreds of interviews, earning bylines in The Guardian among other publications, and also presenting on the ABC. Immediately prior to starting as GM at RTRFM in 2020, I was the Head of Communications & Membership at Student Edge. I’m excited to help keep RTRFM vital to the Perth community from this position of great responsibility. Please don’t hesitate to drop me a line or pop in to chat about how we can better share local music, tell local stories, lift the voices of the marginalised and under-represented, and strengthen our social connections.
