Australia’s annual Pitch It Clever competition challenges early career researchers to communicate their research to non-experts via short video pitches.

Diego Holanda Pereria de Souza is one of the winners of this year’s Pitch It Clever competition, for his pitch on safer, cheaper and longer-lasting batteries.

Diego sat down with us on our On the Record segment with Fiona Bartholomaeus and talked in-depth about his research, and how he was able to communicate his research to non-expert judges.
