2021 WA Women’s Hall of Fame ‘Roll of Honour’ photographic exhibition – Susanna Luliano

The WA Women’s Hall Of Fame is a Perth based organisation that acknowledges and celebrates the pioneering ladies of the past and present, and women who contributed to society in many amazing ways.

The 2021 WA Women’s Hall of Fame ‘Roll of Honour’ photographic exhibition honours all the women inducted into the 2021 Roll of Honour.

One of the amazing women acknowledged in the 2021 WA Women’s Hall of Fame ‘Roll of Honour’ is Nurse Alice Stockley, a pioneering midwife who supported her family solo while building a private hospital on Newcastle Street.

Fiona Bartholomaeus caught up with Susanna Luliano, Senior Librarian at the City of Vincent Local History Centre to find out more about the exhibition and Nurse Alice Stockley’s story.

Check out the HERSTORY on RTRFM podcast series for more stories form the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.
