The WA Jazz Project celebrates Miles Davis

The WA Jazz Project is made up of 17 internationally acclaimed musicians who will premiere new adaptations of Davis’s music, featuring some of Western Australia’s finest jazz composers and performers, with Lucky Oceans bringing to life stories and recollections of Miles and his contemporaries.

RTRFM’s Giant Steps presenter Mark Pearson is joined in the studio by English-born Australian trumpeter, composer and arranger Adrian Kelly and Grant Windsor, a pianist, composer and conductor to chat about the WA Jazz Project and their upcoming concert.

For one night only, catch the WA Jazz Project delve into the life and music of jazz icon, Miles Davis: the dark magus himself on Friday June 17 at the Perth Concert Hall.
