Accessibility enhances experiences for students

The academic year is well and truly in full swing, with Uni students making a return to campus earlier this month.

But for some, like youth with disabilities, access to education can be more limited than others.

New research coming out of Curtin University has found a universal approach to things like physical access, course delivery and disability awareness in Australian Universities would increase participation of youth living with disability in tertiary institutions.

Curtin University Equity Fellow and associate professor Tim Pitman joins Peter Lech on Breakfast this morning to discuss the research and how we can promote diversity and accessibility in Australian Universities.
