A smaller cohort of Gen Z entering the workforce has raised concerns about labour shortages in the Australian economy.

With fewer Gen Z to enter the workforce than previous generations, the retirement of many Baby Boomers, and the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia’s expanding economy faces increasing pressure in key sectors.
