All Things Queer – 17 November 2021

Presenter Sophie Minissale returns to host another exotic edition of the All Things Queer podcast in light of Trans-Awareness Week and celebration of PrideFEST in Perth, Western Australia.

We kick-start the show alongside music producers Lucky Pete from Homopolitan and Anesu from Boorloo Justice. Together, they chat about their RAVE RELIEF X DECOLONISE event, seeking to celebrate the breadth of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Next, Hunter Gurevich who is the Chairperson of Trans Folk of WA joins the show, to discuss the matters of raising awareness and bridging the gap between individuals part of the LGBTQIA+ populace and their achievements to the broader World.

Later onward, Graeme Watson talks with Lupo and Millie who are committee members of the upcoming Albany Pride Program, and the team from The Laugh Resort promote their Stand-Up Comedy night, highlighting the opportunities for queer people to get involved in the event.
