Anuraag on community and keeping DJ sets fresh ahead of Freedom Time

Naarm/Melbourne based organiser, DJ, and artist Anuraag will be making their way over to WA for Freedom Time festival on New Year’s Eve along with a host of local, national and international DJs including Rok Riley, Yikes, SHERELLE, Wax’o Paradiso and more.

Their DJ sets lean towards hi-def, glossy textures and fluid polyrhythms, drawing connections between traditional and hypermodern instrumentation; exploring the intersections of technology and power.

Anuraag joins RTRFM’s Matt Perrett to chat about their approach to DJing, starting off by summing up their art practice and what inspires them.
