Artificial Intelligence develops new antibiotic that can be used effectively against a deadly ‘superbug’

Scientific researchers from Canada and the USA recently discovered a new antibiotic that can be used effectively against a deadly ‘superbug’ strain with drug-resistant properties. Strains like these have become more common due to misuse and over prescribing of antibiotics. But what’s more intriguing about this discovery is that it was made with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This follows a trend where artificial intelligence is becoming a useful and important tool for medical and scientific research.
