Tempest Theatre presents ‘A Good Death’ by Kim Parkhill

Going beyond illness and legalities, the Tempest Theatre Australian premiere of “A Good Death” examines the social, practical and emotional challenges to autonomy in dying, as one woman, and those closest to her, grapple with the realities of taking control and letting go.

A Good Death” was first produced in Canada in 2015, Kim Parkhill‘s play was inspired by her experiences as a former nurse caring for debilitated and dying patients.

Now being remade by Tempest Theatre, a feminist theatre company making theatre for women, by women, and about women.

A Good Death” will run from July, 16 to July, 20 at Subiaco Arts Studio.
